Bio-Concept Laboratories anounces opening of new 30,000 square foot facility
Salem, New Hampshire - February 27, 2008Bio-Concept Laboratories is pleased to announce the grand opening of our new 30,000 square foot facility located at 13 industrial Way, Salem, NH 03079. This new facility will enhance our laboratory functions and provide the space for future expansion of our manufacturing areas.
The next phase of the build-out will introduce automated class A filling capability for aseptic clinical production of ophthalmic solutions on a larger scale. This will support runs of up to 10,000 units/ day suitable for Phase I, II and III clinical studies. We will continue to offer flexible aseptic hand filling for current validated configurations of glass vials and plastic bottles.
While our surroundings have changed and our capacities have increased, we remain a small group of dedicated professionals providing product development services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries in the Unites States and around the globe. We have grown along with our customers and are poised to elevate our services to a new level in order to meet the demands of a dynamic pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry.

Bio-Concept Laboratories Inc. was established in 1990 as a university-based product development company by Francis X. Smith Ph.D. who remains Bio-Concept's President and CEO today. By 1998 Bio-Concept had evolved into an FDA registered Contract Research & Manufacturing Organization with the addition of a class 100 hand fill operation housed in a 4,000 square foot facility located in Derry, New Hampshire.
